The Discovery Institute announced the hosting of a new edition of the Seminar on Intelligent Design in the Natural Sciences (IDNS 2026), an intensive seminar aimed at students, researchers, and academics interested in the scientific development of Intelligent Design. The event will take place from June 22 to 28, 2026, in Colorado, United States.
Organized by the Discovery Institute's Center for Science and Culture, the program will address contemporary research and debates in areas such as molecular biology, biochemistry, embryology, paleontology, cosmology, physics, and the philosophy of science. According to the organizers, the goal of the seminar is to prepare participants to contribute academically to the growing field of research related to Intelligent Design.
The seminar will include specialized presentations on applications of Intelligent Design in scientific research, in addition to discussions regarding the academic and cultural challenges faced by researchers working in this area. Topics linked to worldview, philosophy, and the dialogue between science and faith will also be addressed.
IDNS is part of the Discovery Institute's most recognized educational initiatives and has served for years as a space for training and networking for students and professionals interested in the theory of Intelligent Design and its scientific and philosophical implications.
